NORTH ISLAND TITLES
RESULTS AT WANGANUI

WANGANUI; October 8.
The North Island wrestling championships were commenced at Wanganui today, with excellent entries in all divisions. Following are the present title : holders:—Flyweight, L. Nolan (Wellington); bantamweight, L. Nolan (Wellington); featherweight, R. \y. Hutchison (Wellington); lightweight, Spalding (Wellington); middleweight,' McDonald (Auckland);: welterweight, Rawle (Auckland); light-Heavyweight, Douglas (Auckland); heavyweight, Shaddock (Waikato).
Shaddock, Douglas, and Spalding are not defending their titles.
Welterweight.—X. Buscke (Gisborne) beat C. Vernon (Rangitikei)'..,by two falls; S. Kemp (Awhitu) beat H. Jones (Wanganui); V. Rawle (Auckland) beat C. Spencer by default; Rawle (Auckland) beat McDonald (Wellington); R de Clene (Palmerston North) won from E. Beriton (Wairarapa) by default. Flyweight.—L. Nolan (Wellington) beat Kisher Bara (Auckland) by two falls. Final: L. Nolan beat R. Hunt (Wanganui) by two falls.
Heavyweight.—Kenneth (Auckland) beat D. Scarrow (King Country); G. Harris (Stratford). beat. T. Anderson (Wellington), after an extra round.
Middleweight.—J. McDonald (Auckland) beat A. O'Neil (Rangitikei), on points; P. Razos (Wellington) beat V. Aspin (Awhitu) on points; C. Matson (Wanganui) beat E. Pinker (Palmerston North) by two falls; El Morlay (Hawke's Bay) beat C. Richards (King Country)* Second round: J. McDonald beat P. Razos by one fall.
Lightweight.—J.: Herd (Wanganui) beat D. McPike (Awhitu) on points; R. Hutchison (Wellington) beat A. Mercer (Palmerston North) on points; K. Brewer (Auckland) beat, E. Burton (Hawke's Bay) on points.
