Miss I. Price and Miss R. Fielden, England,l, who are on the staff of the Governor of New South Wales, Briga-dier-General Sir Alexander Hore-Ruth-ven, are staying at Government House, Wellington, as the guests of their Excellencies Lord and Lady Galway. The visitors have been touring the North Island. Another guest at' Government House is Miss Mill, Port ChaJmers. The Misses Jessie and Bertha Forbes will'leave for the south'tonight; Mr. and Mrs. J. Smith, Day's Bay, are visiting .Wariganui. Madame Brunskill arrived from the south yesterday, and is staying at the Midland Hotel. Miss Madeleine Clarke is staying there also. Miss Elaine West, Palmerston North, is vjsiting Wellington. Mrs. McSkimming will leave tonight for a visit to .the south. Sister Rolfes,' of the Wellington Hospital'staff; who has-been spending her -annual holidays at the Samoa' Islands, has returned. Mrs. Fox Rogers, Auckland, is visiting Wellington. Miss'C. Hlne. Wanganui, is the guest of her sister; Mrs/Morton-Jones,' Wellington. Mrs. A. S. Elworthy, who was staying with her daughter;1 Mrs. Derrick Gould, Fendalton, Christchurch, has returned to Holme Station. Miss ..Ella Morton, Hobson Street, is visiting Palmerston North. -Mrs. J. Mowbray Tripp,- Silverton, Woodbury, is .'spending a few days at her house on Park Terrace before leaving on Thursday night for Waipukurau. , ' Mrs; Morgan-Wa'tkins has returned to Wanganui from a holiday spent in Wellington as the guest of Mrs. D. Gillies. " Miss Edith Lyttelton is spending-a short holiday at the Bay of Islands. Dr. Gertrude Atmore, Otaki, is a visitor to Wellington. • Mrs. H; Goggin, Fendalton,: Christchurch, who has been the guest of Mrs. H. Scott, Hankey Street^ gave a farewell tea" at the D.1.C..
