PRICES OF METALS.

LONDON, October 7. The prices of industrial metals have risen substantially. Lead has advanced 22s 6d a ton since the weekend and is now at the highest level since March, 1930. Spelter shared in the appreciation, while tin went higher by £6 5s a ton.
The official London (middle) quotations for Monday, as reported by the Australian Mines and Metals Association compare with those previously cabled as follows:— , .
