CHEESE IN GOOD DEMAND

The New Zealand Producers' Cooperative: Marketing Association has received the following cablegram from its London office dated October^ 8:—

Butter market is firm. New Zealand finest, 122s per cwt; first grade, 120s. New Zealand cheese is in good demand, and the market continues firm. White and coloured, 61s per cwt.

Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received from their principals, Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled advice, dated October 8:—

New Zealand butter, finest, 122s per cwt; firsts, 120s per cwt; market quiet. New Zealand cheese, white and coloured, 61s per cwt; market quiet.

The Dairy Board's London cablegram last week gave the New Zealand cheese market as closing at 59s to 60s.
