(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

DUNEDIN, This Day. In addition to a sharp frost at Wingatui this morning, a heavy fog made" the grass on the course very, damp for horses who galloped early. Superex and Wonderful, were sent five . furlongs on the course proper, with the trestles in the same places as yesterday morning, and they recorded lmin 11 3-ssec. Paper Slipper beat his stable 'companion Hororata over half a mile on the rails in 50 4-ssec. The pair were galloping fast when they passed the starting point. Paper Slipper is speedy. Doiran, who was lame on pulling up after a gallop yesterday, worked at half-pace quite soundly. , Ramo and Amy Johnson were together at the end of five furlongs on the tan in lmin 3 4-ssec. The latter moved' very scratchily prior to the gallop and evidently does not appreciate hard going.
