AERO CLUB'S YEAR
WAIRARAPA ACTIVITIES

MASTERTON, This Day.
A considerable increase in activities during the past twelve months was relported at the meeting of the Wairarapa and Ruahine Aero Club last night. According to the report on flying for the year ended September 30, a total of 816.40 hours was carried out, as compared with 769.05 hours for the previous year an increase of 47.35 hours. J.ne two best months were November ?£?,? ecember ' when the figures were 106.30 and 119.45 hours respectively. I.he lowest monthly average was 25.45, in August.
«, f l6 chairman <Mr. W. L. Free) stated mat for personal reasons he would be unable to continue to act as the club's delegate to the New Zealand Aero Uub. His resignation from the position was accepted with regret, and several members made eulogistic reference to the fine work Mr. Free had carried out while representing the club on the parent body. Mr. N. G. F. Whiteman was appointed to the position. Mr. Free also stated that as there was a possibility of his leaving Masterton, he wished to be relieved of the office of president at the annual meeting next month. .
