CALGARY, October 3 The pursuit of the three prisoners who killed two policemen at Benito, Manitoba, led to a battle near here in which a Royal Canadian Mounted constable, T.. S. Wallace, was shot dead and Constable G. C.- Harrison critically wounded. One bandit was shot dead and the other two critically wounded. A fusillade greeted the police car which came on the bandit car unexpectedly on a country road.
