AGREEMENT BETWEEN

PARTIES

CHRISTCHURCH, October 7,

A delegation from the newly-formed Liberal Party in Christchurch today met the Christchurch executive of the Democrat Party in conference, and it was announced later that an arrangement entirely satisfactory to both parties had been reached for the nomination of candidates for Canterbury seats at the General Election.

Under the arrangement the Liberal, Party will support Democrat candidates already announced, and all future nominations will be of candidates acceptable to both parties.
