Mr. Plunkett pointed out that the relationships of the two Dominions, which had to sell cold-stored butter in competition with fresh butters from other countries, made it essential that the Dominions shduld co-ordinate their efforts towards having their products sold to. the best advantage overseas A long debate followed on the question of closer cooperation between the two boards. Reports were submitted showing the magnitude of dairying and allied industries, and there was a general feeling among delegates that ai more uniform system of marketing should be evolved in the countries' own. interests. ~ •

The conference will continue tomorrow, when the Federal Minister oi Commerce (Dr. Earle Page) and his Ministerial assistant (Mr. Thorby) will take part in the deliberations.
