Meredith) isi giving the full-back, G. Gilbert, a rest! from Wednesday's match against! Northumberland and Durham at New-! caslle-oii-Tyne, as Gilbert has a bruised leg. Now that the All Blacks have been once defeated Mr. Meredith is not worrying about the minor games but is concentrating on building up the: team for the international matches. i Page's torn muscle is still trouble-1 some, and he will probably be unavail-! able for a fortnight. A number of j players are suffering from colds which are difficult to shake off. The financial success of the tour is assured as there are heavy bookings at every centre. The team is being splendidly entertained at Liverpool. The teams for Wednesday are as follows: — NEW ZEALAND. Full-back: D. Solomon. Three-quarters: H. M. Brown, C. J. Oliver, N.
