IRON IMPROVES
Old iron is rising in value. Every day the world is demanding more scrap metal. New uses for it are constantly being discovered, and special factories are being built for dealing with it. Obsolete ships in all countries are now fetching the highest prices for ten years. In 1933 scrap metal was being sold at 10s a ton gross. In Britain today it fetches .£2 10s a ton. ,
