The Hutt Valley table tennis championships were concluded last week, when the men's B grade section and the semi-finals and finals of all grades were played. The final of the B grade championship, which was. played last night between Hutt Swimming Club No. 1 team, winners of No. 1 section, and Empire, winners of No. 2 section, resulted in a win for Empire by 18 games to 2 games. For the winners games were won as follows:—A. Harding, J. May, and A. Wood, four singles each, and J. Halngan 3 singles; Harding and May, two doubles, and Halligan and Wood one double. For Hutt Swimming, Sissons won one single and Sissons and Milne one double.
