THE COLOUR VOGUE

The range of decorative gloves has now been extended, states an exchange. The very chic dresses have their long afternoon and (sometimes) evening gloves of "suede dyed to tone with their ensemble.

Dark purple, blue, brown, wine, and blackberry shades are attractive. These suede gloves dyed to order are quietly smart, and so are velvet gloves in black and bright contrasting-colours.

We shall see black and dark stockings not only for evening and special occasions, but worn with smart daytime clothes. There is also very fine brown and green silk hosiery as well as a thicker black silk with the old-fash-ioned clox.
