PROFESSIONAL RACE

HANDICAPS DECLARED

The entries for the Palmerston North to Wellington professional road cycling race on Saturday total forty. The veteran rider is D. J. Wilson, of Timaru, whose age is 55. This rider of recent years has been a consistent competitor in the Waimate to Christchurch road race without any success. There are five riders on the scratch | mark, and providing- the weather is fine some good times should be returned. All arrangements are -well forward and everything possible has been done for the convenience of riders.
