THE RETURN OF COAL.
Given tune, Welsh coal is certain to re-establish its former hold on world markets, -according to Sir J. F. Beale folds, Ltd., the steel combine. Speaking at the company's annual meeting Sir John said. that, prospects in the steel trade .were definitely bright Direct wages paid in the trade in 1934 were 30 per cent, higher than in the previous year -In the coal industry they were getting ready for progress by modern methods of crushing, blending, sizing, and handling. .
