LONDON, October 7. • The Imperial Economic Committee* world survey of the mutton and lamb trade considers that meat prospects should be comparatively stable^ - The demand for mutton and lamb in Great Britain has risen considerably, partly offsetting the decline in the consumption of beef and veaL Frozen mutton and lamb requirements are likely to continue relatively high. . .-.■'■•' Great Britain is virtually the world's sole market for surplus supplies, of which three-quarters came from Australia and New Zealand last year.
