—: — A large and representative attendance at the funeral at Karori on Saturday afternoon of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Forsyth, wife of Mr. Thomas Forsyth, sh'zwed the. esteem in which she was held. A service was conducted oil the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Church by the Rev. W. Gilmour, of that church and by the Rey. H. Johnson, until recently minister of the Cambridge Terrace Congregational c™rch- , ;, : m ' The. chief mourners.were Mr. Thomas Forsyth, Dr. Forsyth (son), the Misses Forsyth (daughters), Miss Elizabeth Forsyth, (sister-in-law) of Dunedin, Mr. Knox Smith (brother of the deceased) and Mrs. Knox Smith. The pallbearers were , Messrs W. J. Charters, D. S. Patauck, D. Perry, C. S. Falconer, R. Johnson, and G. F. Guise. The funeral was attended by representatives of the Wellington City Council, the Wellington Education Board, the Victoria Bowling Club, the New ve^l Society of Accountants and the V.M.C.A.
