-The Marine Department advises that the dredger Hapal is operating near tho inner end of the western side of Prince's Wharf, Auckland Harbour, and la working gradually to tho northward. Tho dredger, with a barge on <?ach sldo. Is moored in an east-west direction with six moorings laid out In north south, east, and west directions. A red ball by day and a red llglit by night are exhibited rrom tho jardarm on the side on which vessels should,' pass. ,

WANGANELLA'S SCHEDULE.

Iho Wanganella,-which is to leave here at 3 p.m. today for' Sydney and Melbourne, is now to leave Melbourne on Friday and Sydney on September 9 for Auckland. She ■is duo back-at-Auckland on September IS. and Is to Rail on September 14 for Sydney, where sho is due on September' IS.

TONGARIRO LATER.

The 'l'ongariro, en roqte from London, has reported further by radio that her time of arrival here. Is now doubtful owing to bad weather,. but that ehe hopes to .reach here at midnight tomorrow. Sho is to,complete discharge at Lyttelton.
