_ ' ' SYDNEY, August 30. On the Sydney Stock Exchange today the markets were generally steady. There was a sharp advance in Broken Hill Proprietarys in anticipation of a 10 per cent, dividend. Fiji gold unlisted issues commanded a lot of attention. Tavua Development fell back, but others remained fairly strong.
