A successful evening was held by the new executive of the Ngaio R.S.A. in the school room, Chelmsford Street, on Monday last. Items rendered by Messrs. Seaton, Bolton, Roberts, Marcus, and F. Thomas (pianist) were .very much appreciated by the large assemblage of returned men in the district, so much so that the committee decided to hold similar functions once a month. By such means it is hoped to renew many old acquaintances and revive the spirit of comradeship predominant, when on activi* .service* .
