SHIPS' MODELS

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—With reference to the paragraph in tonight's issue regarding the model surmounting the Mission' to Seamen's Institute, it may interest some of your readers to know that the model in question is that of the s.s. Mana. The Mana was a small steamer owned by the late Captain W. R. Williams, whose widow erected the institute. The model was so placed at the suggestion of the late Mr. James Moore, who was missioner at the time the institute was built.—l am, etc., ; GEO. W. BARLTROP. June 7.
