POULTRY PRODUCERS' FEDERATION

Well over fifty branches of the Poultry Producers' Federation have been established under the new organisation proposals, and the annual conference has been arranged for June 25 and 26, in the conference room, A.M.P. Buildings, Wellington. Invitations have been extended to the Minister of Agriculture and others, and at least twentyfour delegates will be present from all parts of the country- In order to reach this conference a delegate must first be nominated by his own local branch, from which he will then sit on the district council. Each district council will then elect one of its members to go to the New Zealand conference. This system is a vast improvement on the old-style conference, and much is expected to result from the meeting on' June 25.
