FIRE PICTURES
While the shadows slowly gather and the evening wind blows free, deep within the fire's soft embers wond*rous pictures we shall see. A Look! there goes a knight in armour, riding.on a charger bold; does he go to fight in battle, or in search ot wealth and gold? Now the picture's slowly changing. and within the fin; we see. tiny fairies, dressed in crimson, dancing then so gay and free. But while yet we look, they vanish; and before) our' eyes appear diamonds, rubies, t>*atls, \and sapphires—precious gems'sfe rich and rare. * > Pictures in the fire!1 What stories We can weave while shadows, fall; dreaming dreams and building castles, unto the hearts ot all. ~ • ■{„*_,
