MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Police and summons cases were dealt ,Tlth™by Mr> J- H- Lu*ford, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. A further remand until Wednesday was granted in the case of Alexander McCuish, aged 28, a motor driver, who is charged with breaking and entering the house of Emeli Sharp, in Constable Street, with intent tb commit theft. John McCartney Irving was convicted and ordered to pay costs for attempting to cross the railway line when it was not clear. For selling milk not complying with the standard, Augustus Hope was fined £2. Sylvia Shaw was convicted and ordered to pay costs for a breach of a prohibition order.
