BRISBANE, May 9. Mr. J. B. Brigden, director of the Bureau of Indjstry, in the course of an address, said there were doubts whether it would be possible for the British Empire to hold together if it indulged in too much Government regulation. There was a prospect of complete unification of the breakingup of the Federal system in Australia. Whether too many Ottawa agreements would break up the Empire was another question. They imposed a great strain on the loyalty of one section of the Empire to another.
