TEPID BATHS.
Dealing with the matter of "baths" Mr. A. W. Croskery, -Labour candidate for the City Council, said that it had always been a puzzle to him why the 'citizens of Wellington had allowed the 'building of a tepid baths for the city to be delayed. 'When he had contested hi^ last municipal campaign in 1933, the- same question had been before the citizens, and all 'sorts of promises had been made, but to date Wellington had ■no tepid baths." Surely the time had arrived when swimmers should realise 'that the time* Was long past when they were going to allow themselves to be fooled any longer. Labour candidates 'would see to it thtd a tepid bath was erected at once if they were elected.
