(Received May 4,-2 pjn.)'' ISTANBUL, May 3. Four or five earthquakes at Kara, in the Trebizond district,-resulted;in.soo people being killed and 1200 ser'ioushi injured. Fifteen villages and hundreds of cattle were destroyed. There isa shortage of water, and a serious erup. tion of the old volcano of Mount Ararat is feared.
