SIX MONTHS FOR FORGERY
A sentence of six-' months' hard labour was'imposed on Alfred George Glastonbury by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) at the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon on a charge of forgery. Glastonbury altered an amount in a pass book from 8s to £8, and der ,p.osited the pass book as security for. a loan, of. £2. His Honour said .that if. was not a case for a heavy sentence. .■'■■".
