Draw the blinds across the windows and cuddle close to the fire's glow for Autumn is here in our Ring tonight < , . the maid of the tawny tresses with wind-blown roses in her checks and feet that dance as lightly and merrily as the little yellow leaves that go eddying, to the ground, beneath the trees- in the parks. So we , welcome her with our own store of story and rhyme which she'll surely cherish. Long and golden days to you Autumn Maid before you flee from the heralds of Winter! Another holiday for you on Monday elves . , . and one for merrymaking and gladness. It's almost like a fairy-tale isn't it . . . \ A § 00(* an(* weH-l°ved King and Queen celebrating their Silver ~ Jubilee surrounded by their subjects, some of whom have travelled i fro™ the utmost ends of the earth to be there ... a procession as , ;' rich in splendour as in any of your story-books; NOT forgetting i the Royal Coach . . . then balls and banquets, lovely gowns, gold i and silver dishes.
