SWIMMING TROPHIES PRESENTED

The Petone Amateur' Swimming Club held a presentation dance on Saturday in the social hall of the Working Men's Club. There was a good attendance. Among those present were Dr. J. T. Harding (president) and Mrs. Harding, Mr. W. Nash, M.l\ (patron) and Mrs. Nnsh, and Mr. J. C. Burns (vice-president) and Mrs. Burns. Mr. Nash presented the trophies to the following members: —Senior men, P. Burbarough; senior women, Miss M. Edwards; intermediate boys, J. Fishburn; junior girls, Misses J. Marston and K. Lane; junior boys, J. Dougan; open dive, J. Duffy and K. Cleland; relay team, J. Clelnnd, 0. D. Cleland, and R. Cleland; men's championship, J. Cleland; women's championship, Miss M. Edwards.
