OPPRESSIVE AT NELSON

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

NELSON, February 4. With maximum, shade temperatures of 77 degrees on Saturday and 77.2 degrees on Sunday, the heat being intensified by the' lack of a breeze, Nelson experienced extremely oppressive weather over the weekend. Humid conditions prevailed again today following a light shower between 8 and 9 a.m. Last month there wern several days when the maximum shade temperature exceeded 80 degrees, but the present weather has been more trying than at any other period during the summer.
