PALMERSTON N-., This Day. The Supreme Court sessions opened today before the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, with five criminal cases for trial.-

•His Honour remarked that the duties of the Grand Jury would be neither arduous nor lengthy. The calendar of- criminal cases was not a long one, and there were none which might be regarded as of a very serious character. ,
