Coinciding with the anniversary of last year's riots political tension is increasing; Hostility towards the Government is especially marked in the farming districts • where unemployment is increasing. : .
Demonstrations at Lille culminated in a clash between Gardes- Mobiles and a procession of members of the Socialist Communist Front. Two troopers and ten demonstrators were injured. One member of the Camelot dv Roi was arrested.
A faction fight in the Parisian suburb of Pecq- between the venders of extremist newspapers resulted in the death of Marcel Langlois, section leader of the Action Francais with a fractured skull. Two "Communists were arrested. - : ; .
