PASSENGER FOR SYDNEY
Amongvthe passengeis leaung Wellington for Australia last Fiiday was Mr. W. T. Hazlett, who will be attending the autunin race meetings in Victoria 'and New South Wales. Mr. Ha2lett bas several horses m training m Victoria 'including Sir Simper and Dazzling Raid, and he had two more (Kindly, Light and General O'Duffy) sent across via Bluff the week before last. At present Mr. Hazlett's well-known colours are not often being seen on New Zealand courses, but this owner has a number of hoises in woik pieparing>for later Tacmg One pf them, a three-year-old „ Cluof Ruler—Moulin Rouge gelding who has been named Frenehy, is .ittiactmg attention at Riccaiton, where he is in E., Seoullar's charge. He is said to show a lot of quality but lias not jet been seriously tried. Two other promis mg sorts are a pair 6f two v ear-old Night Raid geldings, fiom Louise and trom Flicker respectively* "■
