HOMES OF COMPASSION

One of the outstanding entertainments last year was the recital of story, song, and dance given by, pupils of Miss Gracie Kerr'and of Miss Dorothy Daniels. Many people would like an opportunity of witnessing a repeat recital, and the Island Bay committee, as one of the units organising the garden party to be held at the Home of Compassion, Island Bay, on February 16, has been fortunate enough to arrange with Miss Kerr and Miss Daniels for such a recital to be givsri in the Brougham Street Assembly Hall on Wednesday night; February 6, the proceeds to go to the Homes of Compassion. >Every ticket purchased means another shilling to help the sisters in their wonderful work for the poor and invalided, and it is confidently expected that excellent support will be> given.
