NOTTS CRICKET DISPUTE

LONDON, February 4. The. Notts County Cricket Club's mediatory committee met privately at the Trent Bridge ground and unanimously decided that, "the definite policy of all parties is to keep and abide, by the rules laid down by the M.C.C., both in letter and spirit." All imputations on Dr. Gould should be withdrawn.
The resolution is interpreted as a virtual settlement of-the'-dispute.-The meeting lasted from 11. a.nf," to -4 pim.t and thus prepared the way for the annual meeting in March', when a new committee will be elected:
Meanwhile, at the request of five first-class counties, the Advisory Cricket Committee meets at Lord's on, February 26 to consider7 matters arising from the.Nottingham affair.
