Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows, those- for January 25-being in parentheses:— ' 1 Cotton: Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 7.07 d per lb (7.08 d); March delivery, 6.83 d' per lb (6.82 d). Rubber:: Para, 4 7-8 d per lb (same); ; plantation smoked ribbed'sheet, 6 l-8d per lb (6 3-8 d). ■ Jute: February-March shipment, .Indian jute, Dundee quotation, £17 10s per ton (£l7 12s 6d). Copra:' February-March shipment, South Sea, £11 12s 6d a ton (£ll 10s); smoked, £11 12s 6d a ton (£ll 10s); plantation Kabatil, £12 2s 6cl a ton. (£l2 ss). Linseed oil: £2110s a ton (£22 10s). Turpentine: 47s 6d a cwt (same).
