COMMUNICATIONS BLOCKED

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, February; 3. As the result of a Cloudburst iii the gorge between Clyde', and Cromwell this afternoon both rail and road communication with upper Central Otago is blocked. The full extent of the damage is not 'known in' Dunedin tonight, but it is understood that five slips of a total length of one mile occurred on the railway line. A work train left tonight for the gorge.
