The Blue Star Line's new rhotorship Imperial Star arrived at Auckland today on her maiden voyage. She is commanded by an Aucklander who has not seen his home city for 27 years. He is Captain D. R. Macfarlane, who has been with the Blue Star Line for 21 years. While on her maiden voyage the, ship averaged 16.2 knots.
