LONDON, November 11
■The sixteenth, anniversary of thesigning of the Armistice which.'eit'ded the Great War was commemorated today. The central features of all ceremonies was the observance of two minutes' silence. This year f as the anniversary fell on Sunday, more pooplsthan usual;,observed the silence iv the uhurchtj.i, but at the local shrines throughout the Empire the occasion was solemnly! kept.
