MELBOURNE, November 9. Canada, with 83 points, won tho Empire schools, sports contest. Victoria scored 58 points, and Nfew Zealand 29 points. The most thrilling race was the'mile, in which New Zealanders were first and second.' The Empire' Games broad 'jump champion, Rishardsoa (Canada) was defeated by Letcher (Victoria), after a dead-heat. Tho' track was heavy.
