TOMORROWS TIME SIGNALS

A variation in tho usual system of transmitting the radio time signals at 11 a.m. will be made tomorrow in view of the Armistice Day observance. The signals, will be broadcast by the Government radio station ZLW on a wavelength of 600 metres, and those who desire the correct time should tune in to that wave-length. The ordinarytime will be commenced at 10.53 a.m. and will be carried on until 11 a.m. The signals will then, be suppressed for two minutes in order to observe the period of silence, and will be resumed until 11.5 a.m. In addition to sending out the ordinary signals it has been arranged to transmit a long "dash" at one minute to eleven. This long "dash" is being sent out specially in order to enable those interested to obtain the exact time for tha commencement of the* silene*.
