RESCUE AT SUMNER
BATHERS EXHAUSTED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHBISTCHUBCH, November 9.
After being in peril for' almost half an hour, J. Baldwin, of Opawa, a young man; was rescued from the'sea at Sum-ner-this afternoon. Another fbather, who went to his assistance,, also got into difficulties, and two ' teams of Sumner life-saving clubs had; hard struggles bringing the men ashore. Bothwere exhausted and --, had to' be resuscitated. v •-. -
