THEIR EXCELLENCIES
TO VISIT AUSTRALIA
The Governor-General lias received permission from his Majesty the King to pay a brief visit to the Commonwealth of Australia in October next. His Excellency, who will be accompanied by her Excellency Lady Bledisloe, proposes to leavo Wellington ou. Octobor 5 for Sydney, and to return to New Zealand on October 23. He hopes during this short period to beconio better acquainted with tho present economic, social, and other conditions of the Commonwealth.
His Excellency has arranged to appoint tho Et. Hon. Sir Michael Myers, F.C., K.C.M.G., Chief Justice, to bo his deputy during the period of his temporary absence.
