NINE HUNDRED MEN IDLE

SYDNEY, This Day.

Nino hundred men at Lysaght's galvanised iron -works at Newcastle were thrown idle when a mass meeting decided that no ironworkers should restum; work until a man dismissed last week was reinstated.

The Newcastle; members of the Waterside Workers' Federation decided to take no action in the dispute.
