HAVOC IN BIHAR
RIVER NOW FALLING
(.Received August 28, 1 p.m.) CALCUTTA, August 27.
The.police are rescuing hundreds of refugees cut off by floods in Bihar. The situation is worst at Arrah and Moncrhyr where the loss of human life must have becu considerable. Thousands of head of cattle have been drowned, and tremendous material devastation caused. The Ganges is now reported to bo falling.
