SHIPMENTS OF MEAT TO BRITAIN
The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Australia and South America to the United Kingdon) during the first half of August were as follows:—Australia: Mutton ccs., 6459; lamb ccs., 23,768; beef .qrs., 30,869. South America: Mutton ccs., 4269; lamb ccs., 36,259; beef (frozen) qrs., 355; (chilled) qrs., 153,800. The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period were as 'follows:--Mutton ccs., 151,600:'.1.'imb ccs., 381,013; beef (frozen) qrs., 106.
