ENJOYABLE AFFAIR
TRAMPING CLUBS' DANCE
The sccond_ annual ball of tlie Combinea Tramping Clubs was held at St. Francis Hall last night, and nas a most popular and successful affair. Special transport arrangements had been made for members of the Hutt Tramping Club, and a large crowd arrived from the Hutt Valley, and with members and friends of the Paua, Tararua, and Victorian College'Tramping'Clubs, and the Aorangi Ski Club, the dancers numbered well over five hundred.
An exceedingly good orchestra was in attendance, and the bright music and gay : coloured lights helped to make it a particularly happy occasion. An exhibition v of modern ballroom dancing by Mr. Southern Colledge and Miss Mona Waterhouse made an interesting interlude; in, the programme. . ' .
Supper arrangements were excellently carried out and the room had colouredstreamers as'decoration. ';,■ :
