The final game in the junior pennants, Island Bay v. Central, will be played next Saturday on the Kelburn green.

A KARORI REPLAY

The play-oft in.the rinks competition at Karori took place on Saturday afternoon, the participants being: McFarlane, Dempster, Springhall, Gapes (s); Littlejohn, Grant, Neilson, Gilbert (s). The match created much interest and was keenly contested, with much excitement aroused by Gapes's recovery on the final head. Gilbert was 5 up before the playing of the last head, on which Gapes scored enough to make it a tie. . A replay, was necessary, and in this, as far as it went on Saturday, Gilbert gained a good lead. •■
