MARRIED WOMEN
OPTIONAL NATIONALITY
LONDON, February 28. ' A deputation, to Mr. J. G. McLaren, Official Secretary 'in London to theCommonwealth of Australia, headed by Mrs. Guy Innes, on behalf of the British Commonwealth League urged measures to secure the passage by Dominion governments, including New Zealand, of legislation enabling women to decide whether upon marriage they retain their own or adopt their husband's nationality. Mr. McLaren promised to transmit the representations to the governments concerned.
